1. Hi, my name is Emily, and I’m addicted to all things pumpkin.
Until Christmas is over, I should probably have Jordan do the grocery shopping. I had to resist the urge to buy pumpkin spice coffee creamer and pumpkin yogurt, both of which were located right by the pumpkin cream cheese, of course. Darn product placement.
2. Is it really already Friday again? Since we got back on a Tuesday, my days are all mixed up.
3. Next week, Jordan and I will have a house guest. Bring on Chipotle takeout and ‘How I Met Your Mother’ marathons. We live a wild life
.
4. I am on fall break for one more week, and I need to tackle cleaning out my room at my parents’ house. I’m just going to have to pick a day and lock myself in there. You don’t realize how much junk stuff you have until it’s time to move.
5. I started and finished this book on the way up to Michigan. It’s a quick read, and I loved it. The author, Kelle Hampton, also has a blog — if nothing else, skim it for the pictures; her girls are adorable, and her photos are amazing!
6. Have you ever heard a person say that a campaign commercial persuaded them to move to the other side? Neither have I. I’m ready for the election to be over.
7. I had a case of baby fever when we were on vacation. A couple of the stores next to our hotel sold the cutest baby tutus and socks, and I was almost tempted to buy something. Then I remind myself that we’ve only been married for three months. Baby fever needs to go away for a while

8. My neighbors make me nervous. I don’t know what they’re doing, but they’re slamming doors?/throwing things?/jumping up and down? loud enough to make our whole floor shake. It’s probably partially due to cheap construction and non-sound proof walls, but seriously people? You’re scaring me.
9. This time of year reminds me of when I first started blogging. The first blog that I read religiously was Angela’s, and I remember putting off homework to sit and look through holiday-themed recipes, also attempting to recreate a few. Even blogs seem cozier in the fall, I think!
10. I don’t like ending things on odd numbers, so I’ll say, “Have a good weekend” on this even one
!

I love how you needed to round it off at the end — my lucky number is 9, so I’m more likely to try to end on that one!!
Definitely addicted to pumpkin as well — but I’m ALL about the whole roasted pumpkin. I’ve been making homemade pumpkin butter, eating it mashed with a little maple syrup, and eating roasted chunks with PB spread on it … Honestly — so yummy and so versatile. I’m going to miss it so much!!
Ditto on feeling the coziness in the blog world! I think it’s only going to intensify through American Thanksgiving and Christmas!!
I love all things pumpkin too! I think companies that make all of their products pumpkin during the fall months must make bank because I want to buy everything pumpkin I see haha!
Angela’s blog was one of the first that I started reading, too. I can completely relate about the neighbor thing. I live in a converted house, and I share the top floor with one other guy in a different apartment. He is pretty noisy. At really weird hours of the night, too. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night (like 3am or so) and still hear him! Not a fan of my paper-thin walls right now…
Our neighbors are loud in the middle of the night too! It always wakes me up and scares me!
I’m SO ready for the political ads to be done with too…only a few more weeks.
I’m excited to read that book! I’ll need to pick it up soon
That is the cutest shoe ever! What if we both were preggers at the same time and our kids would be 8 days apart too? Crazy… And don’t worry, I’m a pumpkin addict too. Have fun with your house guest!
Aw, that would be so much fun
!
I’d be nervous by neighbors too…so weird LOL. I’m over the political ads and memes…it’s funny the first time but every single one is posted like ten times so it gets so old. I hate odd numbers too!
I’m right with you with the pumpkin addiction. They could add “pumpkin” to anything and I would buy it.
I’m also ready for the election to be over!
Mmm, I need to pick up some of that cream cheese! It sounds amazing!
I still need to clean out my childhood room, too! It’s so overwhelming to think about, though! haha.
whoa crazy neighbors freak me out too. pumpkin spice cream cheese, I bet that tastes good! have a wonderful friday!
I have an obsession with pumpkin too. Can’t even tell you how many recipes I have planned for next week that involve pumpkin. LOL I need to read one of those books!
Come to think of it, you’re completely right about the whole election thang. I’ve yet to hear of anyone being convinced by an advertisement, but I guess they’ve gotta target where people spend most of their time.
Which is probably why Facebook is being infiltrated too haha
Cyndi and Steven have tons of problems with their neighbors too! They hear them having sex like every night around midnight/1 AM AND at like 6 AM!
Oh jeez. Our upstairs neighbors have a newborn, so I’m pretty sure that’s why they’re stomping around so much, but we can hear everything! And our next door neighbors…well, there’s like 15 people living in that apartment so who knows what goes on in there. Oh, the joys of apartment living
.
someone’s going to turn orange! hahaha
I LOVE pumpkin everything this time of year. It’s seriously an addiction. And I find myself staring at all the cute baby clothes and cooing at babies when I’m out and about, and then I remind myself I’m 22 and do not want a baby yet! haha
I am addicted to pumpkin too! My room at my dad’s house is still full of my stuff and I’ve been married for almost 5 years!
