Before getting engaged, I knew that I wanted a “behind the wall” photo similar to Julie’s. I teared up when reading her post for the first time, and made sure to pin that post for when the time came 
. When I showed Jordan the idea, he was on board.
After the guys finished with their outdoor photos, our photographer took Jordan to a spot behind a wall outside, where I wouldn’t be visible, but I’d still be able to talk to him. Then it was mine turn. I made my way outside, feeling nervous, but excited to finally have a chance to be alone with him before the ceremony started. Our photographer told us not to look at the camera, but to be natural and enjoy our moment. I reached behind the wall to grab Jordan’s hand, and could hear the shakiness in his voice when he said, “Hi, Sweetie.” After wondering how he was doing all morning, I was so happy to hear his voice and hold his hand.
I love that Jordan looks like he’s peeking around the corner — I assure you that he couldn’t see anything . I, on the other hand, was looking down because I was trying not to cry.
After what seemed like only seconds, it was time for us to go our separate ways. Jordan always knows how to calm me down, and talking to him helped ease my nervousness. I was ready to walk down the aisle.
In less than an hour, we would be married!

Aw! This is so sweet. I didn’t realize that this picture was before you had officially seen one another. I wanted to do this but my mom talked me out of it. I really wish I would’ve though. Such a sweet memory
