Thank you to LiveOn for this sponsored opportunity to blog about storing and sharing my most important memories with those closest to me. Although story ideas were provided, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wedding planning has made me realize that time goes by too fast. Yes, I realize that I have only been engaged for a grand total of 12 days, but in those 12 days I’ve booked a church and reception venue, spoken to a photographer and DJ, compiled a guest list- and over the weekend, I went dress shopping. I’ve accomplished a lot, but the days have gone by quickly. I can only imagine how fast time will go as we near the big day.
This is why I want to remember as much of this time as possible. While I might not be blogging as often or tweeting every detail for the world to see, I would like to savor the moments that I get with my family and friends. And recently, I had the opportunity to test out a brand new website that promises to keep my memories forever.
LiveOn promises to store all of my photos and videos on their site forever, so I won’t have to worry about losing any of them if my computer crashes, if Facebook goes out of style,
or if my prints get lost when I move out of my parent’s house (this would be true if I ever took the time to print my photos).
I’ve played around with the site a bit, and so far, I like what I see. I can tell that they are still working out some kinks (it is brand new, after all), but once I set up my account, I was able to run through the tutorial and begin making my memories last.
I really enjoy the slide show feature of the site. It’s very simple to upload photos and videos, and I could even add text (or my own voice!) and music. Once I chose what I wanted in my slide show, LiveOn did the rest. It was the perfect way to document my engagement (and much better than making a PowerPoint, which I would most likely forget about). Now I’ll have these memories stored forever.
To help you get started, LiveOn and Clever Girls Collective are giving you the opportunity to use a 20% discount for LiveOn Rewind, a service that digitizes and preserves your old photos! How cool is that? Just use the coupon code: cgc59.
I know that you might not want to spend a lot of money on photo storage (believe me, I am a recent grad who’s also recently engaged), but you can try LiveOn for free. It’s worth a shot! Enjoy!
